Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Mayor Chris Hare, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, and Councilman Chris Sims. Councilman Danny Wagnon was absent.
Pastor Yarbrough gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the October 25, 2022, meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Little made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from October 25-November 7, 2022. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve an ad in the messenger for Thanksgiving and Christmas for $ 140.00. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sims made a motion to approve the library board’s recommendation to appoint Milton Batey to serve another term through April 2026. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve for the police department to surplus 2 GMC police trucks to see if they will bring enough to sell them and purchase new ones. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Rampey made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
