Council Minutes September 23, 2025

Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were Councilman Michael Sizemore, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey and Councilman Jeff  Little, and Councilman Danny Wagnon.

 

Richard Johnson gave the invocation.

 

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of September 9, 2025, regular meeting note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Little made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Little made a motion to approve accounts payable from September 9, 2025- September 22, 2025. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve Ordinance 25-03 regulating the sale and distribution of consumable vapor products on the first reading. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve Ordinance 25-03 to regulate the sale and distribution of consumable vapor product. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the 911 contract with the county at a cost of $ 10,607.13 per month. ( $ 127,285.56 a year with a $ 14,532.36 increase per year). Councilman Turner seconded the motion. Councilman Wagnon voted aye, Councilman Rampey voted aye, Councilman, Councilman Sizemore voted aye, and Councilman Turner voted aye. Councilman Little voted nay.

 

Councilman Little made a motion to approve the purchase of a 2025 Ford F-150 crew cab from CA Russell Ford for Todd Mean’s at a cost of $ 49,281.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the purchase of 2 controllers from Outdoor link to turn the lights on and off from a cell phone at Independence field and a year’s subscription at a cost of $ 1,745.00 for the first year. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
