Council Minutes October 25, 2022

Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Mayor Chris Hare, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Councilman Danny Wagnon and Councilman Chris Sims.

 

Councilman Little gave the invocation.

 

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the October 11, 2022, meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from October 11-October 24, 2022. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to approve a recommendation from the Planning Commission to change the zoning on 515 and 517 W Main Street from R1 to Highway Commercial. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the 2022-2023 General Fund Budget with projected Revenue of $ 4,717536.00 and budgeted expenditures of $ 4,254,782.00. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Little made a motion to approve for the police department to purchase 12 Motorola APX6000 radios at a cost of $ 54,948.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Little made a motion to approve the purchase of a portable kennel for the K9 at a cost of up to $ 6,895.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Sims made a motion to approve the purchase of one heating units ($11,967) and fix one heating unit ($600) at the Senior Center at a cost of $ 12,567.00 by Jimmy Slusmeyer. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Sims made a motion for the council to go into executive session. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Sims made a motion to reconvene from executive session. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
