Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the mayor’s recommendations for the following positions for the 2025-2029 Administration as follows:

Prosecutor- Lance Smith
Municipal Judge- Tom King- $ 1200.00 per month
Indigent Defense Attorney- Rodney Ward- $ 800.00 per month
Engineer: Three Notch Group
Accounting Firm- MDA Professional Group
Bank- Regions
Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the following appointments:
City Clerk- Tashia Blackerby- $ 73,594.81
Police Chief- Kenon McKenzie- $ 75,883.24
Fire Chief- Richard Johnson- $ 31,722.85
Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. Council Rampey-aye, Mayor Hare-aye, Councilman Wagnon-aye, Councilman Warren-aye, and Councilman Turner-nay.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to suspend the rules and vote on Ordinance 25-04 on the first reading. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve Ordinance 25-04, the organizational meeting procedures. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All Voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
