Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Mayor Chris Hare, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Danny Wagnon, and Councilman Michael Sizemore. Councilman Jeff Little was absent.

Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the contract with Etowah County Sheriff’s Department for housing the inmates at of cost increase from $ 4.00 to $ 50.00 per day. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the contract with 911 that went from $ 95,351.52 to $ 104,886.72 for the 2023-2024 year. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the contract with EMA for 2023-2024 year at a cost of $ 17,967.84. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to purchase the Dean property located on Main Street for $ 400,000.00. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the purchase of 4 basketball goals with net for $ 464.00 plus $ 800.00 to refurbish the back boards. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve to put out bids for a 2023 ¾ ton service truck with crew cab. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made motion to approve the purchase of 5 tons of rye grass blend from Gameday for $ 18,260.00. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the purchase of a mound slope guage from Beacon Athletics for $ 359.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve Resolution 23-06 Authorizing Incorporation of the Commercial and Retail Development Board as a public corporation. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve Resolution 23-07 Approving the ARC Grant Application for Websters Chapel Road. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Sizemore made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
