Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Councilman Michael Sizemore and Councilman Danny Wagnon.
Chief Johnson gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the May 14, 2024, regular meeting, and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve accounts payable from May 14-May 28, 2024. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to approve $ 1,000.00 donation to Bash in the Bend. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. Councilman Little abstained and all the others voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve to send out bids on the following 7 roads: Quarry Road, Ford Valley Road, Valmont Circle, Pauline Avenue, Macon Drive, Oak Street and Ethel Street. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to send out bids on tearing down the apartments at 106 North College Street. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to purchase 3/8-inch black chain from Tulsa Chain at cost of $ 7,560.00 for 1400 foot for the fence around the walking track. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to purchase 120 caps for the fence from square fitting at a cost of $ 200.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to purchase an Aerator from Tri-Green Equipment at a cost of $ 2,850.00 for the park. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to allow Public Works department to work 6am-2pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Director can change it back if it is not working out. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to all Glencoe Civic groups to rent the splash pad for $ 75.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to close the dump on Hill Avenue on Saturdays. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
