Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Councilman Michael Sizemore and Councilman Danny Wagnon.
Pastor Crotts gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the April 23, 2024, regular meeting, and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Little made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from April 23-May 13, 2024. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve Resolution 24-05 allowing Glencoe to participate in the join application for the FY 2024 Safe Streets and Roads for all grant (SS4A) funding opportunity. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to purchase 15 radio batteries from Motorola at a cost of $ 2,302.05 for the Fire Department. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to hire Bobby Lipscomb full time as an operator 2 step 11 in the street department. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to have Pro-Turf spray all 6 ball fields at a cost of $ 13,620.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Sizemore made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
