Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were Councilman Michael Sizemore, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey and Councilman Steven Warren, and Councilman Danny Wagnon.

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of April 14 , 2026, regular meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the minutes as revised. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to approve accounts payable from April 14, 2026- May 12, 2026. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to approve Resolution 2026-001 TAP Grant. Councilman Warren seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve surplus of 2011 KW Brush Truck XBM274; 2005 Ford E350 B14878; 2012 TH Gator 080251; 2016 Chevrolet Z71 109098. Second by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to accept the $2,500 Semiquincentennial Community Grant to be used for Celebration in the Park. Second by Councilman Turner. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to expend $1,508.12 in repair costs for the Police Dept drone. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to expend $5,490 for two tarps for public works dump trucks. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to purchase a camper shell for the 2025 Silverado fire department vehicle at a cost of $6,084. Second by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to allow the Mayor to sign a Memo of Agreement to purchase two trash trucks from a municipality. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to expend $805 per quarter for FY 2026 for East Alabama RPC fees. Seconded by Councilman Sizemore. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve $54,026 for Vulcan to pave Donald Circle and cul-de-sac and also Zuber. Second by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Sizemore made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
