Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Danny Wagnon, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Councilman Michael Sizemore and Councilman Colt Turner.
Richard Johnson gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of March 11, 2025, regular meeting, and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Little made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from March 11-March 24, 2025. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve Resolution 25-04 Compensating the City Clerk for her duties as Absentee Election manager. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve Resolution 25-05 accepting the Fiscal year 2024 Audit presented by MDA Professional Group, P.C. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the purchase a purchase from TriGreen for the parts to fix the long arm tractor in the amount of $ 2,855.60. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the change to a previous motion to purchase a John Deere Gator from TriGreen Equipment at a cost of $ 23,588.02. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to purchase new border for the playground equipment from Struthers Recreation at a cost of $ 2,601.00. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve to send out bids for a new 2024 Chevy Silverado, 4wd crew cab work truck for the police department. It will replace the 2020 Tahoe. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the hiring of Joshua Wells in the street department at Level 2, step 12. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the surplus of the 5100-side arm that goes on the mower on Govdeals. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve for the council to go into executive session for a personnel issue. Michael Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to reconvene the council meeting. Councilman Michael Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
