Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Danny Wagnon, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Councilman Michael Sizemore and Councilman Colt Turner.
Richard Johnson gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of February 25, 2025, regular meeting, and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Little made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from February 25-March 10, 2025. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve a donation of $ 1,000.00 to the Glencoe High School to pay for gas for the students to go to Six Flags. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve for Mayor Hare and Councilman Wagnon to be the voting delegates for the annual meeting at the conference in May. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the purchase of 6 signs for the park from Traffic Signs at a cost of $ 2,456.21. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to approve a contract with A.I.D. Security for the installation of security and camera system at Glencoe Senior Center for $6,014.00 and enter a 3-year service agreement for monitoring at $31.00 per month. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve Resolution 25-02 Authorizing the Alabama Department of Revenue to administer and collect sales, use, rental, and lodging tax levied by the City of Glencoe. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve for Phillips Tree Service to take down and remove a tree on Larrydale that is coming down at a cost of $ 2,200.00. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve a to pay Basic Administrative Solutions $ 5,000.00 for the ARC Grant proposal visit to Montgomery. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the surplus list plus a generator and put on Gov Deals Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
