Council Minutes March 10, 2026

Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were Councilman Michael Sizemore, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey and Councilman Steven Warren, and Councilman Danny Wagnon.

Pastor Brooks Boyd gave the invocation.

 

Mayor Hare opened the Public Hearing on the Redfield/Fisher Investment project. No one was present to speak. Hearing no comments he closed the public comments.

 

City Audit firm, MDA, presented the 2025 City Audit and reviewed the results.

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of February 10 , 2026, regular meeting and  note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of March 3, 2026, called meeting and  note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Sizemore made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

 

Councilman Warren made a motion to approve accounts payable from February 9, 2026- March 10, 2026. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to approve training expense for the Clerk’s Conference of $2,450 plus travel expense and the Revenue Officer Conference of $1,350.00 plus travel expense. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve ADP Payroll System for an annual cost of $12,518.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the proposed Incentive package for the Fisher Investment Group. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

 

Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the Lonesome Bend Road property purchase for $140,000. Councilman Warren seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to approve road patch/repairs at a cost of $9,750.30. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to promote employee Riley Schomburg to Supervisor 4, step 15 and Joe Thompson to Supervisor 4, step 17. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to purchase three lighted stop signs for the park entrance for $3,810.00. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to approve for the council to go into executive session to discuss good name and character. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to reconvene. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
