Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Michael Sizemore, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Danny Wagnon, and Councilman Steven Warren.

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of July 14, 2026, regular meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to approve accounts payable from July 14, 2026- July 28, 2026. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to purchase the McKenzie property on East Main Street for $250,000 for a Health and Wellness center. Second by Councilman Warren. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve $12,500 for AAA Tree to remove thirteen trees at the park. Second by Councilman Warren. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to purchase a 21 cu ft freezer for the ballpark concession stand at a cost of $849. Second by Councilman Warren. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to approve $5,931.21 to purchase a motor from Sunbelt for the FD brush truck. Second by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to approve up to $10,000 to remodel the Police Department, including several security enhancements. Second by Councilman Sizemore. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to spend up to $2,000 for ice cream and snow cones for the upcoming Community Block party. Second by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Sizemore made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
