Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were Councilman Michael Sizemore, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey and Councilman Danny Wagnon. Councilman Jeff Little was absent.

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of July 8, 2025, regular meeting, and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve accounts payable from July 8-July 21, 2025. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve to stripe and pavement markers on Sibert Drive from Sibert Circle to Walker Hill Road at a cost of $ 23,225.00 from Etowah County. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve an ad in the Football Preview Edition of the messenger, ¼ vertical at a cost of $ 250.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve a donation to 211 information in the amount of $ 1,000.00. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the surplus the 6105m John Deere 2 cutter and put it on gov-deals with a reserve of $ 65,000.00. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to go into executive session to discuss pending litigation. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to reconvene the council meeting. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
