Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Councilman Michael Sizemore and Councilman Danny Wagnon.
Richard Johnson gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the December 10, 2024, regular meeting, and the December 30, 2024, special called meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Little made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve accounts payable from December 10-January 13, 2025. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the purchase of 2 pallets of mound clay for the high school baseball field purchased from Gameday Athletic at a cost of $ 1,253.00. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the purchase of 3 dump truck loads of crushed brick for the baseball infield and the softball field at a cost of $ 5,100 from Gameday Athletics. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to purchase 12 sets of “Stop Sticks” from Stock Stick, Limited at a cost of $ 505.00 per set for a total cost of $ 6, 060.00 for the police department. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the purchase of lights on Public Safety directors’ truck from Buster Miles Chevrolet at a cost of $ 3,511.40. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve the purchase of 9 LED lights to replace T5 fixtures at the Public Safety bldg. at a cost of $ 2,800.00. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Little made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
