Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Mayor Hare and Councilman Chris Sims.
Richard Johnson gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the October 12, 2021, meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve accounts payable from October 12-October 25, 2021. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve Resolution 21-22 to approve the purchase of 2 computers and 2 monitors for City Hall and 1 computer for the Senior Center out of the American Rescue Plan Funds in the amount of $ 3,340.92. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve an Ad in the Messenger for the 2021 Winter Etowah Living Magazine for a ¼ page horizontal ad for $ 100.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the changing of the pricing for the 2 ice machines that was voted on at the last council meeting (Oct 12) from $ 7710.00 to $ 8704.00. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve for the council to go into executive session to discuss money issues. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to reconvene. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the hiring of Christopher Horton as a full-time employee in the public works department on the pay scale at operator 2 step 13. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted yea.
With no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Rampey made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
