Council Minutes for November 9, 2021

Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Mayor Hare and Councilman Chris Sims.

 

Randall Crotts gave the invocation.

 

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the October 26, 2021, meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to approve accounts payable from October 26-November 8, 2021. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Little made a motion to approve Resolution 21-23 to approve the purchase of 6 AEDs for police vehicles out of the American Rescue Plan Funds in the amount of $ 12,601.56. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Little made a motion to approve Resolution 21-24 to approve the purchase of a Lucas Devise for the Fire Chief’s vehicle out of the American Rescue Funds in the amount of $ 16,715.76. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Little made a motion to approve Resolution 21-25 to purchase 6 sets of Turnouts out of the American Rescue Funds in the amount of $ 143,170.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to approve a policy for the brush pick-up, we will pick up one load per month at each residence free of charge, there will be a $75.00 fee for additional loads. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the contract with Waste Management for garbage. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.

 

Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the purchase of the rest of the lights to go up at Independence Field at a cost of $ 17,667.00. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted yea.

 

With no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
