Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Mayor Chris Hare, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little and Councilman Danny Wagnon. Councilman Chris Sims was absent.
Jeff Little gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the April 26, 2022, meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve accounts payable from April 26-May 10, 2022. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the maintenance agreement with Energy Systems Southeast for the 3 generators for $ 2,240.00 per year. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve for Automatic Aid between Gadsden and Glencoe Fire Departments. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the phase 1 testing on the Pollard property through CDG at a cost of $ 3600.00, the City will pay $ 1,800.00 and Pollard will pay $ 1,800.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to hire Jeremy Simmons at a rate of $ 17.00 per hour for night shift starting June 1, 2022. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to annul Scott Avenue and release back to the property owners Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Wagnon made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
