Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Mayor Chris Hare, Councilman Chris Sims, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little and Councilman Danny Wagnon.
Pastor Donnie Yarbrough gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the July 26, 2022, meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve accounts payable from July 26-June 8, 2022. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve Resolution 22-08 adopting the transportation plan pursuant to the Rebuild Alabama Act (Act 2019-2). Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve the recommendation from the planning commission that the City does not rezone property located at 410 Davis Drive from R1 to Ag. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to suspend the rules and approve Ordinance 22-05 on the first reading. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve Ordinance 22-05 to authorize the operation of a medical cannabis dispensary within the City Limits of Glencoe. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve for the Fire and Police Departments to conduct educational classes at the Public Safety building and any revenues from these classes be spend for equipment for their training room. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Wagnon made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
