Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Mayor Chris Hare, Councilman Chris Sims, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little and Councilman Danny Wagnon.
Richard Johnson gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the August 9, 2022, meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Little made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from August 9-August 23, 2022. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve for the trees to be taken down on the corner of Air Depot Road and Lonesome Bend Road at a cost of $ 1,600.00 by AAAA Phillips Tree Service. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve for the mayor to negotiate a contract with the person wanting to by 515 W Main Street. (Including looking at the cost of tearing down the front of the building and allowing it to be taken off the price, how long to complete the rebuild and open his shop, 2-3 employees). Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the Council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
