Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Mayor Chris Hare, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, and Councilman Danny Wagnon, and Councilman Michael Sizemore.

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the August 8, 2023, regular meeting, and the August 15, 2023, special called meeting note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from August 8-August 21, 2023. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve Resolution 23-04 adopting the Transportation Plan for 2024. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to suspend the rules and approve Ordinance 23-02 on the first reading. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to approve Ordinance 23-02 adopting the City of Glencoe Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map, July 2023, upon the recommendation of the Planning Commission. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to give the mayor permission to enter a contract with Nuisance Wildlife Control to help with wildlife in the City of Glencoe. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve for Lowe Custom Sport Surfaces, LLC to paint the tennis courts and basketball courts and the nets and pickle ball courts at a cost of $ 43,656.72. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made motion approve for Jenkins Fencing to put new fence around tennis/basketball courts at a cost of $ 32,422.66. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve the new pay scale for the Police Department. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to surplus Fire Engine 44 with no equipment and no reserve. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to pay Thompson Cat for the cylinder rod on the large excavator in the amount of $ 3,122.70. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to stripe Paxton and Air Depot Road at a cost of $ 5,000.00 by Brothers Sealcoating. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Mayor Hare made a motion to allow him to negotiate a price for the 111 Lonesome Bend Road property across from the Public Safety Building. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
