Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey, Councilman Jeff Little, Councilman Michael Sizemore and Councilman Danny Wagnon.

Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of the April 9, 2024, regular meeting, and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Little made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from April 9-April 22, 2024. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve for Todd Means to attend Stormwater training in Auburn on May 14-May 16, 2024, at a cost of $ 870.00. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to suspend the rules and approve Ordinance 24-02 on the first reading. Councilman Wagnon seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to approve Ordinance 24-02 amending our Animal Ordinance. Adding no roosters to section 1-68 to match the zoning ordinance, adding goats and grazing animals to section 1-70, and adding section 1-133 on handling animals that their owners have been arrested. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to pay ½ of the $ 9,500.00 bill to Gray Enterprise to pave the entrance of Hickory Ridge Subdivision. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Little made a motion to enter into an agreement with the Water Board for the Tap fee for Victory Cheer. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to pay Phillips Tree Service to cut down 5 oak trees and 1 pine tree on our property on Main Street at a cost of $ 5,200.00.
Councilman Turner made a motion for the council to agree to use the land at Main Street and 431 by the welcome to Glencoe sign for a Cannon from the government. We will put down a pad for it and fence it in. Councilman Ramey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to pay A & G $ 12,000 to put down dense grade gravel on Lola Lane. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion for the city to donate $ 2,000 to Touch a Truck this year in September. Councilman Little seconded the motion. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Little made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
