Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were Councilman Michael Sizemore, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey and Councilman Steven Warren, and Councilman Danny Wagnon.
Mayor Hare gave the invocation.
Dennis Pare of 416 Pauline Avenue addressed Council. He advised the speed limit on Pauline is 25 and he asked them to consider lowering it.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of March 24 , 2026, regular meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Warren seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve accounts payable from March 24, 2026- April 14, 2026. Councilman Warren seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to approve $810 for tinting the windows at the Senior Center. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to approve $8,300 annual cost for Text My Gov. Second by Councilman Turner. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to purchase hose for the Fire Department at a cost of $5,222.00. Second by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to approve the purchase and install of cord reel and the Fire Department at a cost of $7,644.00. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to expend $2,500 for Touch a Tuck event on October 12 from 10-2. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Wagnon made a motion to apply for the phase 2 TAP grant. This is a one million dollar grant with 20% match. Second by Councilman Sizemore. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to enter Executive Session to discuss Industrial development and to reconvene at 7pm. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
7pm, Councilman Turner made a motion to reconvene. Councilman Warren seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to expend $15,965.30 on fencing at the Thompson property. Seconded by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to allow the Mayor to enter a contract with Fisher Inv. Allowing a right of reversion for second position lien. Second by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
