Mayor Hare called the meeting to order. Present were Councilman Michael Sizemore, Councilman Colt Turner, Councilman Cody Rampey and Councilman Steven Warren, and Councilman Danny Wagnon.
Councilman Warren gave the invocation.
Mayor Hare asked the Council to look over the minutes of May 12 , 2026, regular meeting and note any changes to the City Clerk. Councilman Turner made a motion to approve the minutes. Councilman Sizemore seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve accounts payable from May 13, 2026- May 26, 2026. Councilman Warren seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to approve $1,000 donation to Bash in the Bend. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve $805 annual postage machine contract. Second by Councilman Warren. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to recognize Jason Blocker as Fire Commissioner on a volunteer basis, until he obtains Fire Chief Certification. Second by Councilman Rampey. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to expend $2,950 for a tiller from TriGreen. Second by Councilman Sizemore. All vote aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve Mayor Hare negotiating to purchase 200 Main Street East. Second by Councilman Turner. All voted aye.
Councilman Rampey made a motion to approve $3,300 for Benchmark Co to provide blown in mulch on the playground. Second by Councilman Warren. All voted aye.
Councilman Sizemore made a motion to expend $17,700 for Griffin Construction and Gilchrist to remodel the City library to include back hall, kitchen and bathroom. Councilman Rampey seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Warren made a motion to purchase speed signs from RadarSigns that are portable and also collect data. The cost is $9,181.50 for 3 signs and extra brackets. Councilman Turner seconded the motion. All voted aye.
Councilman Turner made a motion to approve Mayor Hare signing the completion of contract for Websters Chapel Road. Second by Councilman Rampey. All vote aye.
With no further business to come before the council, Councilman Turner made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Rampe seconded the motion. All voted aye.
